Misfit Toys Billings, Montana

The main event

Saturday, December 12

One Saturday a year we turn a gym into a toy store where nothing costs anything.

2nd Annual Share the Love Saturday

Saturday, December 12 · 9:00 AM

Canvas Church · 550 32nd Street W, Billings, MT 59102

First come, first served. No proof or application needed.

What the day is actually like.

We get into the gym early and set it up like a store. Tables down the middle, everything sorted so you can find things — babies and toddlers at one end, older kids and teens further down, books, bikes and games along the wall.

At 9:00 AM we open the doors. You walk in, pick out toys for your kids, and take them home. There is no line to register at, no form, and no proof of anything. From the community, for the community.

Bring the kids

Everybody is welcome, and nobody gets asked why.

Nothing to bring

No ID, no paperwork, no proof of income. Just come.

Sorted by age

Babies and toddlers at one end, older kids and teens at the other, books, bikes and games along the wall.

Free means free

No suggested donation, no register, no catch. First come, first served while the tables last.

Why we do it

“Misfit Toys exists to show the Billings area the love of Jesus by providing free, gently used toys to families in need during the Christmas season.”

We are a faith-based nonprofit, and everyone is welcome at our door. The purpose behind the mission is simple: extend the life of a toy by passing it from one child to another.

Behind the scenes

It takes a lot of people and one very full truck.

Want to help on the day

We need hands to sort, set up, and tear down.

Setup happens the day before and the morning of. Teardown is fast if there are enough people. If you can lift a tote and sort toys into piles, you can do this.
